Toni Maticevski is from melbourne... i think he's one of the best australian designers..... i love a lot of his previous seasons collection too......

Gown is GORGEOUS. However, some of the rest of it is really safe. It is appealling to me, but the safe choices are offputting--seems like a lot more of the same. I am very excited by the pieces that do something different, because it seems like this designer has the ability to go beyond doing basically what everyone else does in a slightly different way. This reminds me of Aquascutum a lot for some reason. I also like the dresses that look like strips of paper flying away, barely held together. Thank you for these photos.

omfg! guess what? i just gotta tell someone this....

I WAS THERE!!!

I got to watch the show, as an official MAFW vollunteer i was ushering for that show that day.

some volunteers were backstage helping dress for the show and they told me that toni introduced himself to all the dresses and said hi. how sweet of him.

I met some people from madison and oyster magazine and some industry people recognised me from the other day when i was working for paablo nevada's show (not as a volunteer).
