Yesterday Tony Ward was awarded the “Prix de la Moda Marie Claire 2011” for best modeling career in an event which was held in Madrid. Although this 47-years-old Californian model defines himself as the antimodel he is the most transgressor classic of the Fashion world.
Tony is veteran as well as fresh and authentic. Throughout more than 25 years in his career, Tony Ward has starred campaigns for Chanel, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Armand Bassi or the latest Desigual and H&M campaigns. But Tony Ward also had the time to become an underground icon, because of his talent as a painter, a photographer and an actor, as he has appeared in controversial homoerotic films for Bruce la Bruce and in Madonna clips like “Erotica” and “Justify my love”.
The View team wants to congratulate Tony for this award and we wish him a lot of success in his career, equally impressing and shocking everyone, as usual.
