As for trend bags, I think future classics will be the Balenciaga motorcycle bags, the Fendi baguettes, Dior saddlebags, and Vuitton artist bags (I am still stunned by the Sprouse bags when I haven't seen them in a long time)

I remember going through lust cycles after your "modern classics". However I never did end up buying them. My personal test - if I'm still thinking about it after a month. For my collection, each literally cost me a full 24 hours of anxiety (translation: no sleep, worry that this is "chance in a lifetime", etc.) Pathetic I know. I love handbags entirely too much!
