Isn't this print kind of inappropriate? :glare:.. even if that's the point, it's still nonsense.. here's hoping they don't move on to swastika motifs next month. :meow:

I'm liking a lot of the more dressy items, but i want to spend money on stuff i'd get a lot of wear out of :-S

I got a white corsage necklace in the sale for £4 today. I wanted it when it was full price (£15) glad i waited =)

Recently a club promoter used swastikas on his Halloween facebook event. He seemed to think it was 'edgy'.

    I didn't. I thought it was offensive and ********.

hey! im hoping this isnt off topic, but i've got a question, how does topshop and asos shoe sizing compare?

i wear a 9-9.5 in australia, which is meant to be about a 7 in the UK but I have UK 8 shoes from topshop that are tight but bearable, so could someone please tell me if topshop shoes run smaller or larger, and any tips which size shoes to get on asos (7, 8 or 9)? (im asking in the asos thread too but this one has more people, and topshop is the only UK shoe i can compare to)

thanks soo much! and sorry if this is off topic!

I wear a 8.5-9 Australian sizes - a size 40 in brands like Country Road and Witchery. I buy the UK 7 and that's good for me. I'd say Topshop run true to size... sorry I'm not sure if that's much help.

I haven't bought ASOS - maybe post in the ASOS thread for help.

Hopefully I can post this here?
I located an image of someone wearing the blue velvet dress in real life. Thought it might be of interest to people:smile:

I finally decided against purchasing it because of the lace. Found something more to my liking at Urban Outfitters for half the price.

Just caved in and bought the camel oversized coat. I haven't actually seen anyone wearing it in real life and the reason I didn't buy it before was that I thought everyone would have it.. Got a size 6 so that's good!

Thought about buying this snood, but I'm afraid it might be itchy.

I'd like to buy a blouse too, do you know if the items are usually true to colors?

I've found most of the colours run true. The snood looks really soft, to me. I'm loving their winter accessories this year - most seem like good quality too.

Not had much luck with blouses though - I find many to be much larger than the size suggests, and the buttonholes on three items frayed immediately. The really thin fabrics are not worth the prices, in my opinion.
