are there any good sales in toronto going on right now? sample sales?
well the only one i can think of right now its not great but at all tommy locations in mississauga u can get 40% but u have to get a hold of someone who works there and they can give u this card
thats the only good one i can think off ...hope it helps
I was asking about TO sample sales in the samples thread.
Haven't heard of anything. Bumping this thread up in the hopes that a TO gal in the know sees it
I attended a Lancome sale last week, it's going on again this week but by invitation only. The worst part was you could only spend $500 (before taxes) between two people.
It was excellent; Lancome owns brands such as Loreal, Biotherm, Vichy, Maybelline.. I love Biotherm moisturizers and 55% off of $60 creams was enough of a deal to attend. That and the $13 Lancome Juicy Tubes kept me happy I made the trip to Keele/Sheppard

at the moment..it hasn't been updated but check back every week cause everytime that DC has a sample sale...they post it on this site....they are always at a different place and last 3-4 days....
Has anyone checked out the $35 or less on the dc website?

Yup, that one, has anyone been to it yet?
www.bestbuys.ca lists all the warehouse sales in Toronto and the rest of Ontario.
i whent last time to the 35 dollar one.. it's not good. Dc sample sales suck.
i went to the 35dollar and under sale today, and it wasn't that good. not worth going downtown for if you don't live in the area.
also went to the puma sale since it was just 5 minutes away from the former sale, not as bad, but nothing worth picking up (maybe i'm just picky)
did they have any shoes at the puma sale?
yes they have shoes
The DC Sample sale is always so continously dissapointing...I will never waste my time again...
I hit the Reia sample sale earlier this month - I'm sure there was some decent stuff, but nothing for me...
check out their website ^^ I think Reia usually does their sale bi-annually.
there's a designer sale preview from june 3 to june 5 at holt renfrew. But apparently you need an invitation that they sent to you in the mail. not sure how it works.
what are some good markets in toronto where you can find some deisgner vintage pieces? also, are there any markets in toronto where you can find fake designer pieces?
^^ Well - The most obvious would be Kensington Market. It's more of a neighbourhood and less than your typical "market" persay. Tons of vintage, food, fun, etc...
Toronto doens't have version of 'canal' street - but I'm sure you can find designer knock offs if you walk up and down either 1.) Yonge St. or 2.) Chinatown (Spadina).
a coupon for bluenotes, you get 15% off until June 30.
I heard about some good sales this coming weekend..
Spearmint Pelican Sample Sale (51 Jefferson, unit 201). It runs today through Saturday (July 14 to 16). Brands such as Obey, Ambiguous, Zoo York and Grenade. Bring in a food donation. 11 am to 9 pm. 416-535-6724.
Freedom Clothing , a local independent boutique that features vintage, redone and new items (939 Bloor West) is holding a $2 Sale Saturday (July 16). Apparently, a ton of vintage clothing and accessories, all priced at one low price point, and half of every purchase benefits Doctors Without Borders.
Illyria ( Pestrich ) is having a sample sale. Think flirty summer dresses, glamorous evening gowns, chic blouse-and-pants ensembles and versatile jackets, all discounted by 50 to 70 per cent, Saturday and Sunday (July 16 and 17) at 364 Richmond West, suite 501. Seeing as this label is set to launch during L'Oreal Fashion Week in the fall, it could be worthwhile. Cash only, all sales final. Noon to 6 pm. 416-856-3296.
Take advantage: From now through Monday (July 18), cool Toronto-based online clothing boutique www.paper-doll.com is having a massive summer sale, where killer street wear by brands like House of Spy, I Clothing, Kitchen Orange and Gentle Fawn are reduced by as much as 50 per cent. 416-203-3945.
Preloved (613 Queen West) has permanently reduced all summer stock by 30 to 50 per cent. 416-504-8704, www.preloved.ca.
