I really like the color schemes (especially the the yellows and purples with the brown & tan) but I'm not crazy about the plaid...reminds me of the grunge look and quite frankly that scares me!:p

I like the plaid, what I don't like is the volume. But it does go with the times, no? Oh well : )

Thanks for posting these, Erich.

I'm not liking the volume and some of the silhouettes-it's a mash-up of some 80's and some 90's.

I love most of what I see  I can't imagine people in my area wearing this sort of thing, though (which eventually is probably a good thing ^_^)

So far I like what I see....it looks very comfortable yet put together with the tailored pants. I'm loving those socks!

Just as long as people don't go too overboard on the large jackets, dark plaids (a la Mary Kate/ grunge) I think this will look good.

Funny how the three looks in the mid-row looks exactly like Marc Jacobs A/W -06:innocent:

Hmm ... plaid's still going to work out one full year later? And not go completely out of trend? And not have people getting sick of it? Perhaps plaid has really established itself as classic, or at least a fall/winter staple ...

As for the futuristic look making a comeback, I won't be surprised ... S/S and F/W 2006 have been about reviving, remaking and revamping the classics, especially for F/W 2006. Just think about McQueen's collection with all the classic and traditional Scottish / English elements, Versace and Gucci going retro, and Dior's return-to-the-rock'n'roll-80s collection. My guess is that S/S 2007 will be a lot more modern than this fall/winter season. The trend is likely to then transit from über-modern to über-futuristic for F/W 2007.

In that case, we can expect retro to be vogue again in 2008

thanks for this nugget. My favorites are the counter-culture designs and fabrics.

I'm looking forward to futuristic shapes :)
me too. I see most of the sleeve shapes posted here are more voluminous

Is there any example for the futuristic theme...?

I'm sorry I'm not allow to post more pics of the book.:(

i didnt made it to Premiere Vision this season but from what i've heard it was a sea of 'safe winter' colours and menswear fabrics ..very boring (if i trust my well trained Parisian industry spies..)
