I never imagined Alcide as a white wolf. More of a medium to dark brown.

I just finished reading Dead and Gone and have started Dead in the Family.
Dead and Gone was my least favorite novel out of the series. I miss the days when the Sookie Stackhouse novels were funny, sexy, and overall carefree.
Sookie has always had someone or something waiting around every corner to kill her. But she always got out of it and went to work the next morning. Bruised and everything.

Dead and Gone took a very grim turn. I can't explain how disturbed I was by it.

The crucifixion. The execution of Mel [That whole situation was shocking and upsetting.]
The death of Claudine [One of my favorite characters.]
Sookie being ****ing TORTURED for hours.
Everything. EVERYTHING.

Dead and Gone was too dark for me. I hope Dead in the Family is better.

^I can barely remember Dead & Gone the downside of reading a pdf on your computer... and yet, I have Dead in the Family in the same format to read
I collect the pocket books and they take their time releasing them

when i recently bought the first season there was a comic book in it too...but it was a prequel i think (didn't really look at it yet, since there are none of the characters of the books in it)
was that part of every dvd-package, or should i scan it?
