thanks Lucy!, I saw this a while ago and didn't feel too impressed by anything, these shots are amazing though, even if it's not my favorite collection, you can still tell her eye for beautiful figures and crafwork remains the same. I love the third look in the second post.

not her best collection but some of the details are quite pretty.. thanks lucy :flower:

the raindrop print dress is gorgeous as is that emerald look....

thanks lucy ^_^

I actually really like it... feels a bit like uneven quantities of Kenzo, Dries and Marni were blended together. :p

I like the bold stripe prints the best. Some of the mixes work for me.....but some don't!

I am positively surprised by this  The detail shots represent the collection best, I think. There are some elements that are a bit too "harlequin" to me, though... But the rest makes up for that more than well enough.

Usually she's gotten so much more attention... I was quite surprised how little she seemed to be covered in the fashion media. I always thought her sales were pretty good, so I don't see why so little talk of her this fashion week.

She is one of those favoured by the fringe fashion clique, and she doesn't advertise, so she gets less editorial exposure. Pity though, and her collections are very wearable hippie, and her style has influenced some bigger designers in a significant way. I own stuff from her from years ago and they still look good, a happy surprise for me as I thought she was just "trendy", but no, her quirky aesthetic has filtered to the mainstream.

I used to love her collections, but lately, I really wish she would EVOLVE. It feels like the same themes all over again, any of these pieces, though adorable, would fit right into the previous collections. I know there's something to be said for continuity, signature style, etc., but others have done it, and I believe she is capable of it. Just need to break out from this mode...

lucy! thanks for the thread. I always love to see TC collections... although she does seem to be stuck in a nitch, I agree. it's cute none the less... the individual pieces are great, that can't be denied. :)

my goodness, it's absolutely stunning & wearble, but I fail to see the specialness. & does anyone think that she "evolves" her prints every season? Like taking last season's & just changing it up a bit ..?

Thanks for all the pictures.

she does. it's always so refreshing to see what she will do with print season after season. never really gets redundant ever. to me she and eley kishimoto are supreme at that.

i was waiting for this to be posted! :p love love love tsumori. one of my true favourites

I forgot to post the full collection..... it's really something all together. there is a lot I think that could have been edited out but on the other hand, somehow the fact that it's such a prolific collection matches the whole overdone look of it, if that makes sense hehe.

there are some pieces I am just in love with this season... imagining them in every day life, styled very simplistically... they'd be like a burst of vibrant beauty. and the details are so precious and thougtful... :crush:
