yeah .... maybe ....
but omg ... NY is soooo girly, this season !!

i think it's quite cute...
she is generally underrated imo...
she is so great with prints and colour...
always tasteful...never garish..with just enough black to keep it from tipping over into sickly sweet...

a very strong collection imo..
all the pieces are desirable and easy to wear and incorporate into an existing wardrobe...

:flower:

* could do without the retro hair ....:ermm:...
at least it's not the ubiquitous pushed back fedoras or the 'too cool for school' black rubber swim caps though...
^_^

***anyone know the stylist for this show?...

Softgrey, I agree...
The hair cheapens it, imo...
It would've been so much more effective had she
done something really subtle or greatly different w/ the hair...
I do love this too... the prints are fantastic...
It really is so hard to find a well-done print these days, too...

i was there and have to say the pictures do not do justice. it was exceptionally well made and every season i go, i say to myself "why doesn't this girl get more attention?" definitely the most sellable and every girl there was oohing and ahhing.
especially the fits of the tops and top parts of the dresses and the harem pants and shorts.
super chic look.
it says on the program she was inspired by jean seberg and film noir.
the hair was a bit odd, especially on the girls who looked extremely young.

Yes, very true, softgrey, the individual pieces are just exquisite and versatile to almost any wardrobe.

and the details and backs of all the garments were cut soooo nice and fresh. i think it would make even normal or larger women look amazing.

I love the hair for this show!

As for the clothing, I still feel as though it belongs on a Barney's Coop rack. That's not an insult, it's just I don't find the clothing groundbreaking. Still very cute and wearable, as usual!
