i honestly love the "soul kitchen" title and how overt and direct it is. i think it was just trying to be humorous rather than oblivious. plus the ed reminds me of blaxploitation films which are my favorite!

Amazing editorial in Vogue Italia and now a great big campaign for Ralph Lauren! So happy for Ubah! She has been working so hard and deserves this! This is just the first shot but she is truly off to an amazing start - this image is incredible. I wish I could convey properly how much nicer it is in print.

Ubah Hassan has quickly established a solid footing in the international fashion scene, appearing in the latest Ralph Lauren campaign.

The Richard's model is a Ralph Lauren favourite, having closed his New York runway in September.

The Somali-born Vancouverite also graces the pages of the latest Vogue Italia, in the "Soul Kitchen" spread shot by Bruce Weber.
