UEFA Champions League 2010/2011

Dnw another two Clasicos. :/ And there's going to be a fifth one as well during the summer for the Spanish Super Cup, where the winner of the Liga (which is for sure going to be Barcelona) plays against the winner of Copa del Rey or the runner up if the same team wins La Liga and Copa del Rey.

too much of a good thing...
what makes el Clasico so special is that it happens twice every season
4 or 5 classicos in one season is a bit too much

i don't expect Pep to win all of them
1 down so far. 'manita'

if we are to lose 1, i'd rather it be the clasico for la liga
won't mean much. there is very little chance for real to catch up now
would take a tie in one of the legs of the Champions league
as long as we win the other. and of course, we have to win La Copa Del Rey

pronosticos?

out of the 5 for this season.
2 more wins Copa del Rey and Champions League semifinal leg at Camp Nou (with the one from earlier this season = 3)
1 loss La Liga
1 tie Champions League semifinal leg at Bernabeu

@koko

damn that pic!
jajaja

see you a bieber and raise you a 'manita'

i'll let you fill in the bubble text

www.goal.com/es
if you know how to read in spanish well, this site is very good for fútbol
highly recommend it.

So, the match could have been won by either team imo... I´m glad we didn´t lose in a humiliating way lol

much better game from Madrid
they played very well in the first half,
Barça dominated in the second,
pedrito's goal could have gone either way,
legs where level with defense, upper body- arms where leaning forward.

Casillas was a WALL, best player of the match

unlike the first game which i was mad to lose in that fashion
(marcelo dove and first penalty on villa was not called!)
this one was more even.
so far
1 loss and
1 tie

2 wins for Barça in champions and i will be right,
even though i would have rather lost in la liga and won in la copa

but we will see.

see you next wednesday madridistas

We won!!! YAY
I watched the game at a bar where almost everybody was rooting for Barca, it made the win so much sweeter! :p in you face!!
Watching Iker celebrate makes me so happy it brings tears to my eyes
Ramos is a sweetheart as well, how cute was his bullfighter skills display? :D

Sergio ramos dropped the cup under the bus wheels during the celebrations and it had to be replaced by a new one .It seems the madridistas are not used to hold cups  no pun intended :p

Maybe it was the rain, maybe it was all the jubilant jostling on the bus or maybe it was just Sergio Ramos being Sergio Ramos
a nub on and off the field

The cup is ours and we can do with it whatever we want, even dropping it  :p

The time difference is definitely not in my favour. I've missed so many CL matches. I was only able to watch both of Barca's matches in the quarter finals and I missed Schalke's match today. That's probably a good thing though. I don't think I can take seeing Man Utd win anymore matches. :(

I'm really looking forward to both legs of the Barca vs. Real Madrid semi-final. I will definitely watch those matches. I can't believe there have/will be so many El Clasico matches this season!

Ugh, hard to enjoy the match with all the play acting, diving, cheating and constant surrounding of the referee. Pedro, Busquets and Dani Alves need to seriously man-up, their play acting is a disgrace.

Pep said it best, Mou has not evolved as a coach.
every game against Barça (except the first in charge of RM which he was given the famous manita, because he tried to play Barça in their own game) Mou has defended with 10 men, playing for the long ball in hopes of a hail mary. today was no different. Barça 71 % 29 RM ball control.
the players who had been playing dirty, in champions league, with international referees, finally got the yellows and reds they deserved. except for Marcelo for intentionally stepping on Pedro

Messi was phenomenal. ¡el segundo gol es de antología!@!
Casillas again was the best man on the pitch for RM, were it not for him, easily one or two more goals. with valdes behind the arc (he has improved so much in the last couple of years and does not get the credit he deserves), and the captain puyol back to organize the defense, RM could not even even smell it. Villa and Pedrito still shooting blanks, but Messi put the team on his shoulders and carried us through.

Messi > CR

no Sergio Ramos, no pepe for the next match. Mou will continue to defend, if he opens up (and he needs to attack) he will get the trashing of his life.

Cantera > Cartera
