Spain were playing boring but they needed to play safe. Glad to see them putting on a show. Now I just wish the Italians would turn up and make it more interesting.

The referee needs to book these players who keep stopping the play by pretending to be hurt, its just embarassing.

I am so exciting this is final, and right now happy look this play, we are winning at moment but italy are fighting until the end and this is the best (i can't wait look second part, looks so intense that nervous)

Yeah the Italians may give us a really good fight at the second half, so we will have to wait and see

There are many instances in which a ball touching the hand of a player in the box should not be called. That wasn't one of them. Horrible call.

Yeah shame on these kind of players

I don't wanna just name the Spanish players because its not fair as the Italian players are doing the same but I don't know the Italian side as well as the Spanish.

He didn't intentionally handle the ball though, the ball was hit by the spanish player which then hit the hand of the italian player. I thought the rule was if you intentionally handle the ball inside the box that's when a penalty is given.

Agreed. Spain were playing tactically to get to the final. Now they want to try and put on a show

Italy are now down to ten men because they've used their three subs up, in other words they are screwed.

So only Prince Felipe went to the match? I didn't see Princess Letizia :(

Oh really? Oh shoot, it really wasn't meant for them to win was it? Congratulations to Spain, its their third title in a row right?

You can't hold your hand way out from your body on purpose and change the ball's trajectory. It would be the same if someone was in the wall on a free kick and held their hand out instead of blocking their body with it and the ball hit it. Or if someone was on the goal line on a corner and held their hand out to the side and the ball hit it and kept it from going in. The ball might have moved towards the hand instead of the hand moving towards the ball, but it should still be called.

Yes!! I'm so happy that Spain have probably won. They should go for a fourth goal.
