Italy's defense is pretty efficient, which I can't say the same about Germany's. I'm rooting for the latter, but I find it very difficult for them to revert the score. Too bad, I was hoping for a Germany/Spain final.

I can't say I know Balotelli very well, but I don't judge him. He scored two goals for his team and will probably help them to make to the final, I would be happy too.

Not much time left :(

So the final score would be 0-2 I think

Finally, it's Spain vs Italy then

that was a good opportunity for Germany now! The Italians seem to be good defending and making the most with their few opportunities they had

I'm not a football lover and this is the first time I saw him and I already dislike him because he seems to be so full of himself/haughty :yuk:

Oh well, he is a very crazy personality - you never know what he will do - and childish and rebellious but I do believe that his attitude is partly due to his background and all he went through in Italy while playing over there, but no doubt that he is very conflictive and "difficult"

I think so as well. I mean, maybe he´s thinking of those people who said that a black person can´t be part of the national team and here he is, scoring the two goals that are making possible that Italy is in the finals...

I'm so disappointed. And simply by judging Low's face on tv, he must be really mad/frustrated

:flower: exactly, and he is only 21 years old - and not even that he could not be part of the team but as well not even Italian! ! that had to be so difficult for him to deal with and all the insults and his adoption and stuff, that all does not excuse all of his behaviour but it explains a bit why he might be such a difficult persona at times - it is things like that that mark people and that's why I do not judge the likes of Balotelli, Ronaldo, Boateng (the one from Milan) and legends like Maradonna the same way - the background does influence people's behaviour

I don't see Germany coming back from that!

Italy's in finals and if they will play like this they're winning the Euro. Germany's unrecognizable tonight.

Is it strange that I find Buffon wildly attractive, even with all those bobby pins in his hair?

I was talking to a friend yesterday and he told me that he disliked Spain, and that he thought the best team to play against them was Italy because they had a really good defensive game, i told him i did understand that but i wanted Germany to win over Italy... but what's happening right now it's pretty clear.

The german are over trying and nothing is happening, nothing does seem to work right now, the Italian defense is outstandingly good, and that's a pity :( probably and even though i don't like it, is gonna be Italy and Spain, and Italy is probably the best one to do a better match with Spain... i don't like they kicked Germany out, but i know they are capable of doing a really good final match. So I'm rooting for them for the win. :)

may i add, the last minutes were full of adrenaline, i did feel they were capable of a 2-2, I screamed like a crazy lady  :(

I'm really happy for Balotelli. I'm glad he's the one to bring the win. Still routing 100% for Spain though.

If only Giuseppe Rossi didn't injury himself it would've been almost unfair for Germany today. B)
I said before Germany is a great team with a lot of quality, but in sports I always watch against who have you played.
Germany: Portugal (Ronaldo plus 10), Denmark (Good team but not great), Neetherlands (0 points) Greece (they fought but they were far inferior).

Italy: Spain (WC and Euro champs), Croatia (Quality team that hold Spain to 0-0 til the end) Ireland (Very physical team, but below average), England (Tried a copy cat version of the catenaccio, but only Italy can pull it off, still they gave fight).

I think Italy had a tougher schedule and was tested mentally a lot more then Germany.

Croatia was in the group with the two finalists, and played to a 1:1 draw against Italy. I guess we just weren't that bad.

I knew Italy would win. I had a feeling they would win the whole tournament at the start even though I would love it dearly if Spain won. The preparation reminded me of what they went through in the 2006 WC.
