UK Elle April 2010 : Chloe Sevigny by Rankin

Seeing the cover shot in better quality, it looks much better. Chloe's face looks fantastic, shame it's not a close up.
Usually I dislike illustrations on covers, but it certainly works on the Subscribers. The masthead is really nice as well, love the Miu Miu print.

I don't like the cover shot and they used it for the subs cover too! The text in the subs cover is too fancy and the text in the newsstands lacks.

^That shot just made Prada S/S 2010 look cheap. I don't get the concept

That cover is seriously a-ma-zing! Chloe looks fantastic and I just adore the Miu Miu pattern they used.
I know UK Elle aren't very original with their covers, but to be honest I don't really care because I always love them.

^ Yes this is the first time it's been the same as the news stand cover since 2008 (can't remember if it was the beginning or middle of that year).

Feb 2009 cover had the same shot on both covers.

Oh yeah you're right. Kate Winslet's cover was the same but the newstand had red writing I think yes no?

For me Chloe is very hit and miss. However, I think she looks good on the cover even though it is a little, maybe, bland.
