I'm always down for covers which evoke French Elle photographed by Gilles Bensimon during the 80s, so the direction of this cover shoot is RIGHT up my street - tan lines included. The colours immediately grab your attention and the cover undoubtedly just encapsulates summer!

It's starting to become a real treat to have actual fashion models on the covers of British Elle, which is taking me back to when Lorraine Candy would gift us the odd Milana Keller or Karolina Kurkova cover of Elle back when she was editor.

It's so refreshing to see an editorial and cover as vibrant, full of color... It's complete opposite of what we see today, dull, boring, neutral. Love it!
