I'm pleasantly surprised at how good this looks. Apparently its out now too! Even though I read it was out in August.
It's out, I got a copy this morning and as always it's fantastic!
Oh, I can't wait to get this, I love the collections issues! I quite like what they've done with the colours on the cover.
What an amazing concept for the cover, I really love it.
omg the cover work is insane!!!! its a magazine couture!
This is such a lovely cover!!! They certainly have been upping their game.
beautiful, creative cover! make me wanna see the content!
amaaaaazing cover i love it!
I just picked this up. I like Elle Collection but I kind of think they should rename it Elle Fashion Shows or something because it's less about the collections, the clothes, than the other collections magazines and more about the whole package of fashion week/show production. I do like that they have articles though. I haven't had a chance to read any of them but I'm looking forward to Germaine Greer's one and the Rags to Rag Trade.
I Love the Cover, and I Dread to Think How Much Time Went into Making it.
For Me the Cover is Alot Better than the S/S10 Cover.
Amazing cover. What a great idea.
What a fantastic cover. Genius
Love the cover. I always love Elle Collections. Such value for money as well.
Lorraine put on her Twitter it was out on the 6th only last week! Eash.
I love the cover - its very striking. The articles sound interesting too - the one by Germaine Greer caught my eye. I will have to hunt this down tomorrow afternoon.
Saw this in my local Tescos today, I love the way they've used all the different types of paper, it gives the magazine a great feel. There's a real emphasis on inventive visuals, but like hautechild mentioned, that does come at the expense of presenting the collections in a practical way. But then again, you can get straightforward images of that sort all over the internet - what this magazine has done is try to make a real virtue of putting them on paper in some imaginative way.
I didn't buy it because it was a bit too vacant for my purposes, and I've bought Elle Collections numerous times in the past and never really referred to it as much as I've used other supplements. But it's definitely worth a look, it really tries to bring something different to the newsstand, and anyone who loves paper will be pleased by it, it's a tactile experience.
holy moly it's a rainbow!!!
Wow I love this cover... I love the rainbow look it has. I can't wait to get ahold of my copy of the issue, it looks so nice.
