This just fades into oblivion sat on the shelves alongside everything else. There's something very British Harper's Bazaar about the cover but it's very bland and uneventful - and that's coming from an Emily Ratajkowski fan. It's the lackluster photography and amateur styling that is dragging the shoot down.
How do people like this get to shoot covers. Researching her online it looks like she’s a former Anita Bitton assistant which ironically so is that Carin Backoff that has been blessed by her lover Alistair M for terrible covers of French vogue recently. Maybe no connection but worth noting. Also the use of the Polaroids feels so pedestrian and childish. That can work sometimes if the work is elevated but here with everything else it feels undeserving of a cover yet alone being published in book. Could work as an online blog story 15 years ago.
