First cover looks nice, but very dated. Like it was done under Lorraine. Maybe it's the art direction?
I prefer the second cover. It maybe veers too close to her British Vogue cover, but at least it looks striking in terms of design.

Dior should make their advertising approach less obvious though. A few months ago Cara got Marie Claire, now Elle, at this rate she'll be a 'Woman of the Year' in December for Harper's.
