Poor ladies, I would not want to share an issue with Zayn. He is prettier than all of the women! I do like Kristen's cover, though.

I generally can't abide Kristen in print, but this a great shot of her.

I love how they've written off the August issue before it's even landed on newsstands. They're so desperate to be 'relevant'.

Not impressed with the new art direction, which imo wasn't even needed. I like the tilted head composition of the women's shots, but they did Hari Nef wrong here. Amandla and Kirsten's covers are the best for me.
No comment about the guy, don't get the hype which surrounds him.

I'm really shocked that the September covers got released when the August one just about hit the newsstands. Did the higher-ups approve this move?

I only like Amandla's cover, the image composition is great and Stenberg fills it perfectly. Not sure I get the cropping of Hari and Zayn's covers.

Only Amandla's cover does it for me. I like Hari but that's seriously not her best angle.

Can't understand fashion's hype about Zayn, he literally gives the same face in every publication he's been in.

That's the problem right now! Everybody wants to look like an indie nowadays. I don't get it, is it to muscle in on ID and Pop's readers? British InStyle's content is also very indie, but at least it's executed much better with a sense of ageless charm. And I feel it's more earnest because they've been going at it for some time now. Updating your art direction this often shows how clueless the brand is about their direction and it will not wash well with readers, I'm sure.
