UK GQ December 2022 : The Men of the Year Issue | the Fashion Spot

UK GQ December 2022 : The Men of the Year Issue

has to be one of the most boring photoshoots I’ve seen this year.

for someone with such wholesome chemistry on TV this s*cks big time.

Men of the Year and it's a couple twinks lmao Okay.

Hope there's more Men of the Year cause these two will not suffice. And to think they'll reprint this in every goddamn edition on the planet... bleugh

The definition of what constitutes a 'man' or 'manly' behaviour is exactly the issue this magazine suffered with for decades, peddling the belief to be considered a 'man' you must look a certain way, be a certain way, have a love of cars, wear a suit.

This diversification of who they decide to put on the cover is all fine with me. No one complains if an 18 year old female model lands the cover of a major women's title, so it's bizarre they do here?

I agree to an extent, but if someone was declaring, I dunno, Millie Bobby Brown or someone “Woman of the Year” it might be kinda eye-roll inducing, too. In this case, they’re teenagers whose only claim to fame is playing children on a Netflix show.

I tried to watch Heartstopper but got bored with it by its second episode, so I don't get why it'd warrant them as "men of the year". But despite of how Seventeen/Teen Vogue that cover looks like, I quite find it clean and polished.

Tw!nks of the Year...which I don't mind but what's with the amateur photography? The lack of expressions? The questionable styling? How would they be able to inspire people looking like they do in the editorial?

Jack’s expression is laughable. Sydney’s cover is the best… a concept, some production, imagine that!

Sydney's cover reminds me of the old times when magazines DO care about their covers.

the last one is so American GQ under Will Welch, but It's way stronger than the first two. Happy for Andrew.
