sometimes I find these VS girls trashy.
ok, I will repeat, it's a bad magazine
I am so sick of these VS shoots, all looking the same
thank you, nothingless, what a shame![]()
OOOh so it sounds like a nice magazine, I mean the pics are not everything, articles are pretty important too thnx for the review girl!Let's see - here's what else the issue contains:
- a supplement called GQ Essentials, with on the cover 'Men's Wear Gets Serious!' It features lots of photos of recent runway collections, and editorials:
* Patterns and Colours
Ph: Bill Gentle
St: Michael Gray
M: Vincent at Success
* Equine Aesthetic
Ph: Klaus Thymann
St: Michael Gray
M: Fabrice and Thomas at FM
Then inside the actual magazine:
- back cover is Patrick Dempsey for Versace
- ads for Ralph Lauren Black Label, Prada, Emporio Armani, D&G, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Salvatore
And the Features are:
- Guillermo del Toro by Andy Morris. Exclusive interview
- Ryan Giggs by Piers Morgan. Manchester United's winger is tackled by GQ's own star player.
- How I Nearly Died by Tom Loxley. Life begins at 40
- Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner by Naomi Campbell. Argentina's President talks tough.
- Upwardly Mobile by Bill Prince
- Alfred Dunhill by Nick Foulkes
- Berlin by Kevin Braddock
- The American Election - on the campaign trail with Obama
- Palm Island by Will Storr
- Paco Rabanne by Robert Chambers
It's a pretty jam-packed issue. 320 pages, loads of interviews and pretty intelligent articles (and I don't normally read GQ UK). There are no real other fashion things inside the regular magazine - something on shoes and something on the F/W collections, but no editorials or anything.
Hope that helps!!
Urgent question: Is Justin Timberlake in this issue, speaking about Givenchy and working on his next album?
