No one, absolutely no one, does light better than Tim Walker.
I was happy to see Lily on the cover, and it's a soft and pretty shot. The issue feels a little smaller than I expected - though at 366 pgs, it's hardly lightweight, and on first flick-through, there's the impression of a lot of content and a solid cast of models.
Sadly, my subscription copy is badly water-damaged, it has the 'wibbles' - my March issues seem cursed to self-destruct before I even get them.
"Chocks Away" is wonderfully charming (in typical Walker style). But I particularly love this editorial because I adore WWII fashions and I've always thought that that era was very romantic.
All of the shots with the airplane are especially great!...in particular, the picture of Lily putting on her stockings! That picture is BEAUTIFUL!
what is daria`s editorial like??????????
Walker's ed looks so good to me! I love the theme and how well styling goes with it, and Lily looks absolutely beautiful.
Thinking about it, "Chocks Away" is quite a beautiful homage to the era when women had to "make do" and count their pennies, it's a comparison between moods, of now and then, but in the form of an exquisite fantasy (where suitably subdued clothes will cost you thousands).
Oh, I hate when it happens to me. I don't subscribe any mag but sometimes when I buy via internet it happens
I don't understand why Vogue UK changes the titles font so often... The last one was actually good.
omg HOW BEAUTIFUL! i am never disappointed by his work.
Of course not miss dalloway
"Chocks Away" is nice. I can't wait to see Lily's other editorial, as well as Daria's. I'm also looking forward to seeing the 'Mad Men' feature. I'll never get enough of that show.
Not entirely sure if this is the full editorial as the review said there should be 12 pages and there are only 9 here.

I'm glad it's a model on the cover, it's only OK for me. The eds by Tim Walker sound really interesting... I kind of like Lily and Anja's ed, her poses
I like it that the cover has a nice relaxed feel to it, and Anja's edit is great! She's making all sorts of great body shapes, but we're still able to see the products. Lily's editorial is not bad, but I think I like Anja's editorial a bit more because everything is so much more sharper and it encourages me eyes to just focus on Anja, instead of lingering too much on the backdrop. Thankyou yellowetpink for scanning
I need to start saving money for
March issues ASAP
OMG I need to see the Carol T. ed.
Though clean and simple its still a nice cover.
I'm loving "Clocking Away"!!
Really Tim walker, with extravagant settings. Really loving Phelan's styling for piecing the pieces into such vintage fashion.
Oh, and what a surprise to see Jonas Kesseler casted for the ed as well!
I'm impressed so far. MUCH MUCH better than the previous two issues.
chocking away is so georgeus and so does with anjas's ed, loves to see anja in that kind of weird pose, thx for posting
I loved Anja's ed!! in post #91
PS: Can't wait for the rest of the eds to be posted !
really disappointed by Anja's editorial...looks like something that she does for the Next catalogue
