Ulla Johnson F/W 2021.22 New York

Some of the knitwear looks stunning, I really love this.

I love it too @annikad, a very rich, sophisticated and elevated collection from Ulla Johnson. The textures, prints and shapes are beautiful - and I love the leather knee-high boots.

Beautiful garments and such good styling. I would love to see something like this at Chloé, I'm sure that Hearst woman's show will be a miserable piece of nothing when compared with this amazing show.

I feel like it's in the same vein as Isabel Marant or Chloé, but this interpretation of boho is more interesting and fresh. At the same time, it's... fashionable without being too pretentious or heavy-handed. I'd say it's a pleasant surprise coming from this dreadful NYFW.

Such opulence. The rich prints, beautiful construction, and wonderful styling all come together at such a fine, enticing point. I love how wearable these pieces are too. Those tiered/cascading ruffled dresses will live rent free in my head fo months to come, such movement!

Consistently the highlight of NYFW, at least in my opinion. She's one of the few living designers who knows how to make prints sustainable. It never gets old.

The opening look is the winner for me, but I'm obsessed with the silhouettes and colours throughout the collection. A very tricky colour to use as your primary, but she nailed it.
