I think Uma Thurman is always well dressed. I just love the ads she made for Louis Vuitton. She's currently involved in fashion accessories making with TAG Heuer.
They made a collection of watches: some are "Haute-Couture" and some are "Prêt-à-porter". One timepiece is IMO outstanding. It's neither a quartz nor a mechanical movement. It's like a diamond bracelet but when one button is pressed... time appears magically on the diamonds!

The watch is called "Diamond Fiction" and is made of more than 800 full cut diamonds. It is sooo haute-couture

What do you think of it? With which clothes would you wear such a watch?

I think it can go with both a dressy or casual outfit. However, I think it will get boring over time and not really remain a classic watch that is suitable for every occasion.

I like

How much is it retailing for? and any other colors?

I dont like it very much...I think its a one time watch only..not the one that will stay with you forever...

such a beautiful and unique watch ! never seen it before ! i like it ^_^

not crazy about the style, but the idea is very, very cool! i'd like to see it incorporated in other, more understated designs.

I think it looks pretty nice. I'm enjoying looking at it, but I'm not sure if I'd wear it. Perhaps if it came in black like TheSoCalledPrep said, otherwise, I'm not so sure.

isn't bling over yet? (sigh)
covering something in diamonds doesn't make it 'classy'
it is a fashion watch and so many other companies make cheap throwaway versions of it- such as fossil and d and g time.
it,s a watch that is far from timeless:wink:

I've read somewhere it would be a bit more than 100,000$ ... But with all these diamonds ... it's an upscale haute-couture watch ^_^

There's another watch from Uma's collection that I realllllly like. It's called the 'monaco purple' (from the famous monaco model worn by Steve McQueen?!). It's much more simple, less glittering but IMO it's definitely a 'classy' watch! (I  the lizard leather strap)

It's said there's only one piece of this model that was made only for Uma ! (lucky her ^^)

What I like with this watch is that at first it's based on a 'man' model and eventually they've created something that I wouldn't mind wearing at all

They've made another version of this model with some jean strap (ultra trendy but I don't really like it) called the 'monaco crystal corals'. Look at the dial of this watch it is sooo nice !:woot:

This pearlescent blue... It's mesmerizing! I could look at this watch for hours!

IMO the monaco variations are an improvement on the 'dream watch'. The blue watch has a great face but the strap lets it down- it takes away from the dial and cheapens the overall look. personally i think the large black men's model is a classic ( i had one for a while) and looks great worn by women
