i wore all my carine roitfeld for uniqlo items a lot at my corporate job this winter and spring. the cashmere sweater pilled too bit quickly for my taste. the silk tops have worn very well - despite getting dry cleaned a number of times. the suits from the fall collection i wore quite a bit.

the black coat that retailed for $199 that i got for 50$ was my winter coat. it has pilled a bit - i have shaved it. it was a good buy though - most of my daily winter coats look trashed at the end of the season.

i havent worn the ultrasuede items from the spring collection yet - too hot to wear 'em. (i got both skirts-suits in both colorways)

i have my eye on the tiger stripe items for carine's fall collections as well as the suits.

i have not bought any of the carine items at full price ever - im hoping to get them for at least 75% off in the fall.

but i knew i would...
they are just so much more my personal style...

I'm looking forward to the electric blue Lemaire U sweater/sweater dress - the one thats in the ad. that color can be hard to get right at that price point. all the other U stuff looks a bit bulky for my taste.

I don't think the carine roitfeld collection hits until october. They'll need the floor space for ines and U.

i checked the pics and from what i can tell, that dress and swtr- it's more of a teal than an electric blue...
though there is one pic online where it looks more electric blue- but i think that just bad filtering...
the cashmere quality looks really good, even in a photo...
though that many just be a sample and actual production may vary...


the stuff looks to have a spice colour palette...
i think it's very pantone actually...directly from their trend forecasting...
and that with that blue- it all reads moroccan to me...
not my fave, tbh...

luckily- there is always black...
and hopefully some grey and navy~!!

i have a navy down scarf and it is crazy awesome...
i've always wondered why i don't see anyone else with one...
mine comes from italy...
it never seems to have caught on here in the US...
maybe now it will?

I just purchased this for the fall. It fits well, super light and looks great both ways hence, reversible. I almost went for the wine color, I just couldn't get myself to get it. I'm sure you'll great in it.

if i were to design those down mittens...
they would have a horizontal slit on the palm side so that you could easily poke your fingers out to use your phone without taking off your gloves and then tuck them back in, nice and cozy, when you're done...
