LOL, the decision to photoshop that background was silly. A simple studio background would've been good enough. But maybe too Robbie Myers for Nina's taste? lol.
I wondered how they could get I&V for this and then, of course, I realised it must've come via Gan. They shoot for V regularly.

Yeah, and Alex White frequently collaborates with I&V as well.

How is it predictable when politicians hardly appear on the cover of fashion magazines?

It looks good (look at this...I&V shooting a US Elle cover whilst a washed out Hype Williams shoots a budget US Vogue cover) but a very risky choice at this time, particularly if you consider the vitriol a figure like Meghan Markle got for merely editing a fashion magazine. However, from a commercial point of view, it will probably be as much of a hit as it will be a miss for the naysayers.

Fashion magazines take themselves WAY too seriously now, and when they all fall, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

Its a major coup but I agree it should have been coloured. Black and white would have worked with a more cropped image

Straight up, it's just a bad cover regardless of who it is.

As a European I think there's nothing more boring than US politics. Then again this kinda cover must be a hit in the US, although I wonder if it alienates their conservative audience. Even though I doubt conservatives even read fashion magazines lol

That’s funny because for me as a European I think there’s nothing more interesting than US politics.

Because it's so messy and entertaining, stands to reason when you consider the amount of time they've put entertainers in political seats. Everything that would end a politician's career over here is almost considered a badge of honour over there, including a cover like this. Politicians, staffers, news anchors are all ready to mudsling one another at any given time. I've often wondered why it's like that. Is it because they are also the country who gave us the equally messy and entertaining Hollywood? And who gets the job done in the meantime while everyone is rushing to take centre stage?

Love the close ups I wish they had shot her facing the camera for a cover. She's very photogenic!
