I'm always happy to see Liev Schreiber nab a cover. I'm also happy to see that US Esquire's days of wall-to-wall cover text appear to be over. This reminds me more of a Details cover.

I'm not digging the overtly retro design. Magazines imo should always remain in the present. It's one of the only advantages of being a monthly publication; represent the world around as it is. A magazine at is best should be an arbiter of their time not stuck in their 1960's glory years.
