I'm always happy to see Liev Schreiber nab a cover. I'm also happy to see that US Esquire's days of wall-to-wall cover text appear to be over. This reminds me more of a Details cover.

Oh this new layout is terrible...
 
There's something super attractive about Liev and I love seeing him on covers. But as MON pointed out, the layout is quite poor.

I absolutely ADORE this man; he is so sexy. And to make things even better, Edgar Ramirez is featured as well.
 
I'm not digging the overtly retro design. Magazines imo should always remain in the present. It's one of the only advantages of being a monthly publication; represent the world around as it is. A magazine at is best should be an arbiter of their time not stuck in their 1960's glory years.
