I do not quite understand why the cover can not be in color. Either way, I am not a fan of this cover star or the photograph.

My introduction to Anton Corbijn didn't come through U2 as much as it did through Depeche Mode, but the amount of genuinely iconic music imagery that came out of Corbijn's collaboration with bands and artists should never be understated - most of it in the form of moody b/w work.

Oh, fun. This was the Director (Anton) on my first production job in LA, yes- with U2 for tour visuals.
I like the cover. Bono is iconic, no arguing against that. Irrefutable.
