Samira Nasr didn’t begin her role as EIC until July 6th, so unfortunately I think we’ll have to wait until October or November for her first true issue, but I’m very interested and excited to see her Letter from the Editor.

I quite like both covers and the editorial. It feels relevant to the activism and social movements afoot, but not removed from the fashion and commercialism I want and expect from HB. It’s simple but eye-catching. Excited to receive my copy and I’m curious if they’ll continue subscriber covers for every issue going forward.

Rihanna is always a welcome cover subject! I like the British version more than the US cover, but overall it seems like a solid effort.
Wish the cover image wasn't the same for both editions though. Is this the first issue without Carine's icons in... how long now? It's an interesting change.

In 7 years, the first one was “Singular Beauties” in 2013. I’m gonna miss it, was my guilty pleasure.

It's so beautiful and fresh, I prefer this to the UK one. It's safe to assume Carine's out of Bazaar with her Icons, so Rihanna will appear on every Bazaar edition in September.

I’m less convinced by the main cover and I think the ed is fresh and interesting for Bazaar but quite lackluster on it own.

Rihanna is always a safe bet and by being on the cover of all the editions of HB, she is securing a wonderful exposure for Fenty, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin!

Both covers are beautiful. I'm fed up with Rihanna appearing in magazines, but I'm glad it's not Beyonce. I also hope Bey doesn't get Vogue.

Spain got the best cover! Even though the US edition actually looks appropriate for autumn, I don't like it. Feels too cold and emotionless, not phrases I associate with her public image.

Where is the Carine shoot??
