God. She looks like the left side of her face is paralyzed. Badder than bad.

I assume that's the subscriber cover and that the newstand cover will be loaded up with "989 fabulous looks for you!" in size 72 font. My question is, who is the poor sap that has to go through every issue and count up how many 'fabulous looks' there are?

I'm curious, what counts as a 'fabulous look'? Because I notice that a lot of the time, even a small January issue will have some bombastic, ridiculous headline with "456 Great New Looks!" So what warrants a 'look'? Do they count ads? Do they count socialite/party pictures? Does each head-to-toe look in the editorial count as one 'look'? I'm confused.

i just zoned out...it was one of those things where i really didn't have to be there but due to politics i had to show my face......

i don't know how they're defining it...but no...they can't count ads...

but they do include the front of the book and the beauty section and any celeb pics...pretty much every photo...or any description of an outfit...

each dept is responsible for a certain number and for counting them...and then editors double check one another...by going over each others pages before they go to the publisher...that's what i did a little bit...just check images, credits, and proof read..

but there's a whole dept responsible for fact checking who is ultimately responsible for getting that number right...
