US Marie Claire July 2015 : Rita Ora by Beau Grealy

I still can't understand why she's relevant enough to get covers in the US market.

This actually looks good. Happy that she's getting US covers. Having said that, I hate how her arm is covering her face...

I will NEVER understand her appeal! Nothing about this cover works for me!

She has (or had) some kind of fashion show on MTV (sort of a wannabe Fashion Police? I saw maybe one episode), she's in 50 Shades of Grey (haven't seen it, so I'm not sure how significant her role is in it or in upcoming films in the series), she performed at the Oscars and the song she sang for a film got a nomination. She was also on that really popular Iggy A song "Black Widow". Plus she's dated a bunch of high profile people. I'm not saying she's a megastar. I'm not even a fan. But I think she's well-known enough in the US to get a July cover for not-particularly-prestigious American magazine.

Boring cover, looks like from "Seventeen" or "Teen Vogue".

They're still trying to make her happen, huh? She must have one hell of a management team.

And then some.

I like Rita when she does "glamour" - when the tacky side of her look is mixed with some classic styling. But this cover shot does nothing for her features and those eyebrows look like they come straight from a black marker pen rather than a make-up artist.

That picture is so awful, she looks like a clown with that fake smile.

I am also in the club who people who do not get her appeal at all.

The only thing attractive on this cover is the Prada.

Wow. Another level of atrocious featuring Rita Ora.
The Prada's cute though.

I don't mind Rita, but this cover is not attractive at all. Too much pink and the fake smile along with the too drawn on eyebrows. It's an eyesore to look at.

Rita over here in the states is more of a socialite rather than a musician or actress. I still don't know why she hasn't gotten covers after covers.

I live in Africa and I know who she is and why she's famous, people should stop pretending not to know what shoe does! That said, this would have been a great cover but something went wrong somewhere I agree that she does glamour better than quirky

Dont care for her at all but I quite like this cover. The hyper-feminine pink shows a side to her which we dont normally see. MC is slowly stepping up their game. I just dont know what could she possibly be promoting.

Basically she had 2 short lines and 5 minutes of total screen time, apparently she'll have more in the sequel. Her singing isn't bad but she's not really famous for her own song but a collaboration with iggy azalea, and she just sings the chorus mostly. I think most people have forgotten about her oscar performance. She just hasn't done so much to warrant much attention I suppose
