beautiful issue, Annie's work is stunning. almost forgot Sophie Dahl and Devon Aoki were on Vogue US, loved the picture of Sophie as Debbie Harry by Meisel

There's always this hug huge huge disconnect between the middle-America glamorshot that's meant to catch the attention of Walmart shoppers of the covers and the actual coverstory. It's like they were shot by different people with different teams. This shot would have made such a smouldering foldout cover (just reverse the shot).

No need to lament on what's become of Annie's work... :sigh:
