Boring looks like Elle
The editorial with Margot is absolutely wonderful. The styling, her poses and I&V work perfectly. However I don't get the love for the cover.. I mean it's a good cover and we have certainly seen worse from Vogue, but I feel like we have seen better too. It's the expression on her face that doesn't convince me. It's not intense to me, it looked like she was a bit tired because it was shot at the end of the day after the whole editorial
Never will I ever complain over the sight of Margot Robbie on the cover of Vogue (or any magazine for that matter), and this is no exception. The classic studio setting and modest styling from Tonne Goodman feels like a total pallette cleanser from the over-stylised Zendaya cover last month.
God love you, not understanding the praise for this at all. F-ing boring as death, and I love Margot.
Soo drab and lifeless..
Is Anna even trying anymore? So commercial and booooring. And by the way, where is the fashion in that cover? Looks basic and anything else than inspiring.
Anna’s been at the helm of the magazine for a long time now and it really shows. Give me someone new, please.

big photographer finally
If that is what Peter Lindbergh is bringing to the table, then Vogue is better off with the new guard of photographers. The second shot is great but the first one and a few of the portrait ones as well? Yikes! The composition is terrible. You wouldn't think this was shot by an esteemed fashion photographer.
That's not even starting with the big hair, which makes the entire thing look like a cheap knockoff from Grace's recent W story.
I’m tired of these Vogue stories of young healthy female models being coupled to old rich looking sugar daddies!
STOP LIVING IN THE 1950’s VOGUE!
Lol, there used to be a time when their pairing actually made sense. Or at the very least, one could see some chemistry. Gisele and George. Doutzen and that Fiat guy who keeps embarrassing his family, Raquel and all her partners. The ones over the last few years however...
I still remember "Wild Irish Rose" from September 2013, where Daria got to lounge around wearing three layers of tweed while Adam Driver stood bare-chested with a sheep on his shoulders. Not only did they look like appropriate partners, she got to keep her clothes on. It was clear who the sex object was, and for once, it wasn't the woman.
I still loving that editorial. Daria’s picture in the black dress and the landscape behind her is one of my favorite pictures of all times.
And then Annie made Adam Driver carry Lena Dunham over his shoulders the same with years later, which.... ..
...was the same issue that contained "Kate Upton's Super Bowl Party" as a feature, lest we think that everything was better in the past.
They've been doing these stories for years. Lara Stone has only shot a dozen or so of these.
I’m aware of that but models especially the likes of Rianne don’t need no stinky old fart next to her to elevate this! And for crying out loud give us some same sex love stories Peter!
Right, of which one of those dozen or so was with Morgan Freeman!
Like Karlie and Taylor from a couple of years ago?
