Goodness!! American Vogue had such powerful moments. That South African editorial looks sublime, especially the shot of David and Iman dancing on the beach. I think their timing to build a feature there was perfect.

Most issues in the 90s had no accompanied cover story inside. It was common practice that one shooting was only for the cover. Although you might find out one or two images which could highly possible to be take-out or alternative cover choices used in some articles in that issue or the month after.
