My goodness this is harsh. Fan made at worst!
Didn't her previous editorial feature her lying down on a sofa? Is this the unfiltered one?
And what is up with that huge bar below? However the article stipulated therein excites me.
The angle is a bit strange, but still she looks beautiful. First famous woman to get Power issue cover, twice!
Good Housekeeping is looking great this month!
Good choice for US Vogue
She is talented & she deserves it
As much as I was wishing for the Gaga rumour to be true, I love this. The colours are beautiful and Adele is such a star.
Someone mentioned in another thread that Adele gets to pic how she´ll be photographed...
I was expecting exactly this pose but gotta say it´s a lot less boring than what I was expecting cause I really like the color scheme.
I don´t get the bar below though, who thought it was a good layout idea?
Meh... Waited so long for this?
Not just that, she approved this cover, just like Beyonce did last year. This is what Wintour is allowing nowadays, in order to get certain celebs she lets them pick the cover, its shameful, but i don't think this cover is as bad.
Don't understand the bar below, so instead of usual banner, they are doing this now? It's even worse!
It's true, she was photographed reclining on a chaise in Vogue March 2012, BUT I do think this shot is beautiful. I believe she's wearing custom Burberry? I like the cover story too, the shot of her in the McQueen gown is stunning. This will be the first time I'll pick up a physical copy of US Vogue in a while.
Love all the dots of colour, Adele looks nice, but a bit too indifferent expression for my taste while her character can be so exuberant, shame it isn't showing in this pic. Hopefully more to come.
The cover is not bad at all considering its US Vogue. But man, I just checked out the editorial on Instagram and it looks cold and depressing. I really wish it was shot by I&V instead.
What I don't get is, she got to be photographed so beautifully for Time Magazine, and how can it fail here? Her Time cover had so much presence. That screamed power, while this, chill. She wasn't on a couch for Time, so I guess she's not restricted to couch only covers & editorials. Unless it's a standard of hers for Vogue.
I wouldn't mind it being a studio cover again if it were done by I&V. Timeless.
Gorgeous shot of Adele. Love the styling (beautiful colors) and the setting. My favorite is that this looks very different from anything I've seen of hers in the past.
WTF is that expression ?!? I agree, I don't understand either how all her previous covers for 25 have been good especially the gorgeous TIME cover and this is what Vogue does with her. And she approved it ?!
The setting is most likely US Vogue's idea that she was ok with, Time suggested a different one that she liked just as well. So i think both sides have a say, Adele agrees (or not) in the end.
It's a beautiful cover, and better than her last one, but there's something seems off, maybe her eyes? I don't know.
^ I think it's the lack of winged eyeliner
I think the cover is really nice and Adele looks really beautiful! Her editorial also looks good. I hope the content won't disappoint.
