Love Steichen's photographs. "Full Backs" could be stills from an early Lynch film, the atmosphere reminds me of that in "Eraserhead".
The portrait of Helen Vinson and Ilka Chase is amazing, so sleek and graphic. I can imagine Ford being inspired by such images during the YSL tenure
