    I hate:

    her hair.
    her facial expression.
    her mouth.
    her neck.
    the harsh lighting.
    the lay out.
    this cover.

They basically turned her into Rooney Mara. This looks very similar to her first cover.

This cover edit looks like it's for a throwaway month. February or the like. Indeed, I recall Sims shot Rooney for a February cover some time back and the result looked equally sleep-inducing. November is supposed to be the couture issue, bring the drama. Just can't deal with the styling which isn't American Vogue AT ALL. Maybe this is Anna going through austerity. If you heart's no longer in it, leave Vogue for someone else to run!

And to make matters worse, they've even managed to get the worst out of Sims, who's actually been improving everywhere else!

This is just so sad to look at. What used to be the most important fashion magazine is now almost a waste of paper: there is nothing that works in this cover.. the horrible hair, the cliche line, the bad expression, the grey background, the bland YSL dress. It’s simply a mess.

i detect some vague Stella Tennant-esque vibes from the editorial?! The whole thing is so poorly realised and lazy.

She´s playing Lisbeth Salander in the new movie.

I like her and I´m glad to see a new face on US Vogue but I hate this so much, there isn´t even one redeeming quality here imo...

Reminds me of Rooney Mara November 2011 Vogue US cover, both of them played Lisbeth Salander

Are we sure that this ugly mess of a cover wasn’t #CapturedOnGooglePixel3?

Can't believe David Sims shot this mess cover! I was really looking forward when I saw Claire's name.

It looks so fake with those fonts and everything! Conde Nast magazines are like the walking dead, Vogue the most! No wonder the company's in crisis, but given the influence they have, it feels like the whole magazine industry will be pulled down with them, once they go down.

    That's hysterical!
I was about to say they should have just gone with the GooglePixel3 gimmick.

This just makes me feel really bad for her. Love her as an actress (love David Sims as a photographer.) The styling is fantastic as well. Putting it all together, somehow it doesn't quite work for me.

So the mess wasn't just for the cover... the whole edit looks like trash. The dress in that last pic could look wonders and yet it looks like she just lost her Emmy/GG to GOT while wearing a Chanel suit. Depressing.

Oh my goodness, NO! NO NO NO!!

First, why hire Claire Foy only to make her look like a cheap knock off of Katy Perry and her cover? This is a disservice to her beauty! Tragic beyond words!

Second, what on earth is that art direction? What a disgrace? Someone got paid for that? That “Happy Birthday” text is oddly misplaced. Also look at how the Y in “Foy” overlapse with the text below it!! And also look at how the text overlap. This is a nightmare. Tragic!

And this is coming from a person who exercise maximum tolerance when it comes to US Vogue covers. This is just a big no!

This has to be a joke?

Remember when Katy Perry 'decided' she was an LGBTQIA 'icon?' It's a lot like this cover; no one asked for this.

LOL, she does look like Katy Perry. It's the same lame "I'm edgy!!!1" vibe. And even more lame that they rehashed the same approach they used on Rooney when she played the role. And this makes it even clear to me that Claire was a really poor casting idea to play Lisbeth...

I love Claire tho, she's one of my favorite actresses of the moment and her style is pretty great, but this is so disappointing. I wish they had pushed for the theme of First Man, maybe the result would be better. But ultimately it's Vogue's inability to make an interesting and fresh cover story despite all the talent and resources on hand.
