I want this issue, but most of all i am shocked how good the scans are for such old issues!!! For crying out loud, Vogue Italia was uncapable to get good scans for their archive, for issues not even 15 years old!

Thanks a million for all the threads justaguy.
 OMG you just made my day...I needed a good . You're so welcome, Miss Dalloway!! But yes, it is amazing they look. I might have had something to do with the paper used before. Possibly heavier weight. Who know, but I'm glad they look so good, too!

So, so good. Each and every Balenciaga they shot for this issue has ended up in fashion history books, amazing collection. The fleece coat with gathered melon cuffs marked a generation. I'm also feeling Schiaparelli's fan peplum jacket.

I found it funny how they speak of mannequins instead of models, very french.

Thanks for sharing!

This is such career defining issue for Mr Penn!

#3 8th model was Colette, who was Mr Balenciaga's one of fav models. Too bad her surname was never recorded properly.
