ooh thanks brian. love that white briefcase but not sure how it would look in person. Anyway where can I see their items online?

I LOVE those bags! My only issue with Valextra is their price...even in Italy they are super expensive, and I wonder if they are really worth it? I got a close look at the workmanship, and must say it was when compared to my favorite - Hermes. I believe that Valextra is a neat company, with great history in Italy (they made pieces for the Agnelli family), yet I think it will be hard for them to go mainstream starting at such a high price point.

Does anyone know where to buy Valextra in the USA (Chicago area)
Thanx alot

I like the first white ones, they look likethey are from the 60's

Does anybody know where I can purchase Valextra. I love them!!!!

don't buy Valextra

I have worked for Valextra in Milan and it was the worst ever experience I had in my life. They treated me like sh*t, didn't pay me enough to survive and above all everybody there is vicious and mean. I know their products really well and must say the craftmanship is great, but nowhere near Hermes. The MD of Valextra likes to compare his company to Hermes, but he's nothing but a bad manager, who thinks he is the greatest! With those high prices they think they can make a statement to those who are really elegant and timeless, but they forget that if I have to spend 5000 euros on a briefcase, I want one with a powerful brand and not something nobody knows of. And I can assure you, I've personally seen how they make their prices: they look at Hermes's prices and add another 10-20%. Well, to anybody who knows a bit about business administration, this must be a shock, because I've never seen a more stupid pricing method! So bare in mind, when you buy Valextra, you support the mean and unprofessional people who are behind it.

Bump of a very old thread. I actually found what I thought was a pointless accessory: a hot pink Valextra wristlet at a secondhand store in Santa Monica. It's no longer pointless: it's my new camera case -- I found out that my Sony CyberShot fits it perfectly. :woot:

They make lovely things. Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills had a dedicated Valextra section.
