The woman on there reminds me of Renee Zellweger.

He DOES look old... a little too... tanned, maybe? He still appears charming, though. Oh, that George.

WHATTTTTTTT ???:shock: November's issue's supposed to be the Music Issue, eh?

Gemma Ward's posing with George in this one....so I assume it's her back we see? (oddly enough so did Gisele ;))

yes, it gemma ward, i seen at et news, there are very nice pictures of george and gemma in vf

^ is that gemma? it doesn't look like her :(
i don't like the cover at all, george looks old and his facial expression is kinda "oilly(:p)"

Yep! That's Gemma alright! And George looks so tan next to her O_o;

Good lord, I wish they had shown Gemma's face...does anyone have any screencaps? Ah...I'll check the Gemma thread

Huh... it's very holiday-ish. I subscribe to VF and I have to say that I'm looking forward to seeing Gemma... probably (if its possible!) more than George Clooney.

I wish they didn't make him look so aged, he really is an attractive older man...but this did him no justice.

WOW Vanity Fair has more models on their cover than Vogue, 3 in the span of 12 months. Anna should really try to infuse models into Vogue covers by coming up with creative themes that would sell instead of just relying on tabloid fodder to sell magazines, same for the rest of the fashion titles. The above cover would have made a great December cover for Vogue, it could have shown Gemma's face and been labeled the Holiday and Entertaining issue, since it seems more apt for a Dec. cover anyways as well as the fact that it's a ripoff of the recent actor/model stories vogue has been so fond of in recent years.

Another way to infuse models would be on covers like the Drew Barrymore Beauty and the Beast cover which was the best selling issue of 05. Stupid Anna thought that it had been so because of Drew and put her on again a few months later to average sells, same goes for Kiera, those covers sold themselves because people bought them for the fairy tale portfolio's not for the actriz so could just as well been a model.

I could have really liked this cover, but I was hit by a series of three things - George looking old... the way he's giving the camera that intensely knowing look... and that horrible grip he has on Gemma's hand as if to say "where do you think YOU'RE going, young lady... we've got a cover to shoot and you ain't going anywhere".
