The opening shot of Cynthia's editotial is STUNNING

Ethan is the epitome of this era of photographers...absolutely nothing about their work feels signature. Anyone could have shot this. There’s quite a few of them and they’re like names on a dartboard...see where the dart lands and have them shoot, makes no difference who does it, you’ll get the same results. You could have shown me these pictures and asked me to guess who shot it and I wouldn’t have had the slightest clue. Not even if my life depended on it could I have guessed...

That’s why Hugo Comte stands out amongst the crowd.

All that to say, it’s not like it’s a horrible editorial, it’s just worthless.

And I’m a fan of Joaquin and I loved Joker.

He used to have a styl at first but I suppose as he's shooting for all these big magazines with their very specific aesthetic always underscored, that is being diluted. It's a shame because both can exist at the same time.

^^And that started with that Freja's cover story for Vogue Italia

True! I will admit I really liked that cover, was one my favourites last year purely for the composition and production value. But was it his own, meaning his own style? No, it was modeled after VI's past hits. Same applies to his current American Vogue cover and this shoot. CN did the same with Daniel Jackson, gave him a massive platform but at a price!
