I noticed velvet in two of the most coveted shows in NYC: Alexander Wang and Rag & Bone. Interesting as I was just telling a friend how horrible it'd be to see people wearing velvet trousers again :lol:.. somehow it doesn't look as bad as I remember it.

i don't really like this material...the pbm is that the colors are always the same.
 
Of the looks posted so far I really only like the velvet at Altuzarra and Marc Jacobs. A lot of these looks are panne, which is probably one of the trickiest fabrics to work with. It's so much look, so shiny, so rich color wise. It's hard to make it look good.

I really started loving velvet in november, but I think it was over done in the alexander wang show!
