Veronique Branquinho A/W 2005 Paris

It kind of reminds me of dark, more mysterious Jil Sander:-) Ab. beautiful.

I think a whole collection in black is depressing. Doesn't flatter the complexion of the girls.

This sweater is the only item I liked:

this is great. I have never ever payed attention to her collections. this is wonderful and surprising for me.

I think it's ok, but this is sooo my stepmother's taste...she'll adore this!

I think people have to look past thedark, gloomy colours, anddepressed looking models and realise that this collection is truely inspiring.

Some fantastic cuts, so simple but very flattering.

You could so easily take these designs and re-invent them into something that could be worn on the highstreet and impress.

I especially like the second top, it's given me a great idea...

aswell as a few other tops, regarding the cuts and overall finish.

These designs can certainly be adapted in an ever so subtle fashion to accomadate a mass market.

Truely exceptional, one of the best on this site I've seen so far.

Regarding birdofparadise's comments with attention to detail on male clothing and the cuffs...

Last season Evisu had a tight cut along the cuff/wrist on their hoodies and sweats, Red Dot (who use Evisu's factories) implimented the same idea with their sweaters.

If you look around you will find labls with some great attention to detail with mens clothing. Ziad Ghanem's male collection takes it to the extreme.

thanks runner - this looks very nice indeed. very chic but still with an intelligence about it

thank you runner...
so lovely...elegant and chic...and completely modern...
great tailoring...

**when oh when will fall arrive.......
i can't wait to wrap myself in black...
and i love all the boots too...

I have to have that second coat on post number 28. This stuff is wonderful. Thanks for the pics runner.

Bought a pair of black cotton casual pants (men's) from AW 05. I'm really happy with the cut which is narrow through the hip and leg -- I'm quite slender (dior, raf, helmut, poell tend to fit me well) and these are flattering. The sizing is small. The size 52 fits similar to my poells in size 50; a little baggier in the waist but not obtrusive. Not so happy with the fabric which reminds me of upholstery fabric. They're ok for work.
