that is what i consider a very iconic VB look...
it's VB doing her version of YSL...
my friend has a VB blouse in that style...
it is sheer black with satin ruffled trim...
it's a really special piece...
the cuffs are AMAZING...
really fab without being OTT...

definitely the VB style that appeals to me most...

i'd happily have that blouse myself...

yeah that's certainly a piece that's remained very much intrinsic of VB's work since she started. a little bit of victoriana with yeah maybe a bit of YSL's poet-blouse but a bit crisper in its tailoring. i can see how that would make a good uniform....now i'm waiting for a.f. vandevorst to start designing medical uniforms
