Versace F/W 12.13 : Elza L, Dmitriy, Kacey, & Philipp by Mert and Marcus

They really didnt randomly pick newfaces like Prada 2 seasons ago, Elza may be a young gun but her abitities in print are just purely emotive and spicy. I can think of plenty more experienced top models who are not half as emotive as Elza.

I am so sick of people talking and always complaining about a model age. like c'mon. What kind of campaigns a 16 yrs old is suppose to do and not. Like really. So far the images are not bad and she look decent. Versace or not. Also, Gisele and the others started somewhere else too when they were more younger. So just keepin moving.

Don't know who the models are but I like that. The ad on itself reminds me a bit of an editorial, something that Interview would do for example. But I like it, it showcases the collection perfectly and sets a great mood.

It's such a breath of fresh air to see Versace veer off their usual obvious sexiness to something more inspired - still sexy but not blatantly - and I still think it's true to what they stand for.

Typical Mert and Marcus, tons of photoshop but almost no creativity. At least it is decent... I have to issues with the model's age as long as she or he can make it work and sell the brand for you!

i can barely remember the collection and would have to take another look at it but this ad definitely works for me, and the fact that it does look much like an Interview editorial is probably the reason why plus i've always found M&M's work agreeable enough when they deviate from their standard oversexed imagery.

Even though I've never been a fan of Mert and Marcus, I quite like the womenswear shots, It would've been better I think if they had used both Elza and her twin Vera.
On the other hand the menswear shots are as bad as the collection
