why do they show womenswear during the Uomo collections?
thanks for the photos ngth
I've always wondered that also. I don't find it to indicate anything what the womanswear will look like.
I like some of it so far
OMG, that runway is the same as one Gianni once used.....
Not about the menswear -- but I think I like the shoes on the woman.
EWWW I HATE IT!
i think it's to attract a certain amount of attention that the men might not. i've seen girls like naomi and carmen kass used to attract male attention to the shows on such websites as GQ...
also it's a interesting way to make a statement about the continually blurring lines between what's menswear and what's womenswear. (that jacket as part of a suit on a woman does still look interesting on a particular man)
This picture is from the VERSUS show. Sorry for mistake.
Lena, could you please move it to the Versus thread. Thanks
Like some of it...it's very over-the-top Gianni Versace...other pieces are just trash...
I read somewhere that Versace and Dolce showcase their women's resort collections on the runway...nothing like a photo op
...the collection is so exciting...
some more pics...
...that stuff is pretty wearable
...and some more...
very Miami beach...
a bit over the top...even for me
Not exactly my cup of tea, but the suit Tyson's wearing looks cool.
Hmmm, I like the use of color....except for that pink and turquoise number, a little too Ralph for me........but I do like how Gianni this collection feels. That beige and orange duffel is so hot! If they made that into a messanger bag, I'd want it sooooo badly.
i like the outfits in the last post that canvas & crocodile duffel is really nice
the first shirt is awful
the money ($) sign is tacky, but i like some of the stuff
The shirt in the first photo is the ugliest thing I saw in a while.
The beaded jacket brings a whole new definition to TACKY and BAD TASTE.
The suit with the colorful striped shirt, SO-SO.
The next looks, typical "good" Versace.
Overall, So what?
