Versus S/S 10 Milan

Those are some sexy dresses! Can't wait to see the whole collection.

lol notice how Christopher has his hand around one model and doesn't dare put the other one around Donatella.

At first she started this collection to make it more accessible but then stopped.

Now Versus returned but on Christopher Kane hands. There's an article in Vogue Spain. I'll scan it if someone is interested.

yes please!

The shoes!! :woot: It's funny, I would've thought this was Versace and Versace as Versus

Can't wait to see the whole thing!

Here's the full collection:

I personally love everything, apart from some of the shoes. The flat ankle boots are just too harsh for the collection I think.

The safety pin detail has me floating on the clouds, it's so beautiful. especially on the sleeves.

I think it looks pretty good...I'm just disappointed it was shown in a presentation setting...very rarely does such a set up show off the clothes well. A runway would have been much better, and not even a full scale, over blown runway...something intimate and appropriate would have been enough.

It's okay, it isn't like I haven't seen some of those dresses 500,000 times over before, I do love the more interesting cut pieces.
I believe there could have been a little more creativty with color choices, details and maybe some separates to give a little more diversity and personality.
A better color palette and a few jackets etc would have made this collection great.

It's understandable that this collection is a little on the 'safe' side. They are trying to introduce a new vocabulary and so obviously there needs to be a sort of cleansing of the palette.

That being said, this is a pretty good collection. I like that he kept the safety-pins to a minimum; it keeps its away from kitsch-y territory.

I personally prefer this to Versace this season. It's the perfect combination of sexy and wearable clothing.

^^ totally agreed! I LOVE how they brought back the safety pins I miss them so much!!
Props to Chris Kane for his 21st century interpretation of 90s tackiness! oh how i miss the 90s :D

I'm interested to see how this will sell now, and how long Kane is gonna stay designing for Versus.

Oh My GOD i love everything! I'm so glad its back, Christopher did an amazing job!
