On the contrary, I quite like this. It looks very chic to me and the masks are cool!

So far, I adore this. The clothes seem very soft and feminine, and the masks add intensity, and a sense of mystery to it all.

Again,I feel they're trying so hard at maintaining some sort of conceptual sensibility,and ultimately it turns out to look gimmicky-especially in contrast with such safe looking clothes. It doesn't look right nor does it feel right. Concepts only works with clothes that have substance...which they used to be. Like Faust basically said in the Alena thread. Otherwise,it just ends up looking fake and really rather desperate for attention. Which they don't need!!

^Yes, that was exactly what I was thinking. Why try and raise the level conceptually with the masks when the clothes don't match up. I do love the clothes but I can judge them on their own merit without being guided by these 'gimmicks'.

Having said that, the clothes themselves are nothing new or innovative but lovely all the same.

Oh indeed. This collection would be really lovely if they would just leave all the silly antics alone. I mean,they made that decision to be alot more commercial and globalised and frankly,having it both ways seems really dishonest and a major turn-off. I would most certainly appreciate them alot more if they would just stay true to what they're trying to emphasise. And stop contradicting themselves each and every time.
