One of the absolute best of the entire season IMO.
The dresses were chic, sleek and wearable not to mention completely modern in their depiction of ladylike attire.
All in all I thought it was a bright spot in an otherwise dull season.

I agree wholeheartedly beautiful peices, beautifully executed- though I don't know how the "cold aloof robotic" thing will translate when the individual peices are in- store

I couldn't see some of the pictures that were posted up, but the ones I did see, well, I like a lot!

I think this collection is quite interesting and the masks kinda remind me of those worn in fencing.

I wasn't sure what I thought when I first saw the masks but it did remind me of something... some of times I thought the masks went well or alright with the dress, other times, the masks were too dark and it marred the look altogether; it was distracting my eye from the dress, which was annoying (as it should be!). However, Tiania got the word that was lurking in the back of my mind into the open! Thanks!

I really like your description of what you thought of the dresses I think they're gorgeously elegant, and the colours are nice I think, the classic and warmish colours.

This was one of the best FW06 collections imo. The dresses are beautiful, but I definitely like the jackets best. As to the masks, I think they help bring out the concept V&R were trying to get across.

I believe there was an editorial in US Vogue with Gemma, Hilary, and Lily D that used the masks.

Edit: there was also a Vogue Nippon Supplement with Vlada R that used the Mask. I believe it was part of the Sept 2006 issue.
